[No Remorse]

Good

k00charski, the last review guy is wrong. American youth have difficulty, and have violence, but no more than other countries. Money can't buy happiness and the US isn't homogenous, which leads to violence. But this movie is beutiful and poetic. Visceral and wonderful. The gfx needs a little work though, and the message needs to be more universal. But still wonderful.

Sometimes the characters look funny which takes away from the serious tone. The characters are well drawn, but drawn inappropriate, they look very cartoony.

[Fallen Angel: Teaser]

Nice Graphics, but no point

This will only appeal to those who appreciate explosions and pointless death.

The graphics are extemely well done, but totally wasted. There is zero story, and while one could say that this is just a teaser, that's no excuse. This movie felt dull to watch, there was nothing interesting, just hoard of unidentified men that a 0 dimensional character gunned down. The action sequences are cool, but aren't adrenaline pumped enough to stand strong with no plot. This gives a tiny adrenaline rush, but no leaves no deep impact on the viewer and ultimatly feels empty and pointless.

Seriously Overated

Put simply, the graphics are beutiful. But the plot is dull and mundane. I found it hard to sit through this even twice. There's only so long you can look at something because its pretty. After a while, you need to have something intriguing going on. This story is full of 1 dimensional stereotypical characters engaged in a flat and run of the mill plot.

Littlefoot didn't have a great plot, but it had cute characters and interesting environments to keep the viewer's interest. This has a well drawn, but very commonplace environment with a very generic style taken.

Now the characters were well drawn and everything had a polished feel to it, but I would choose a movie with less polish and an engaging storyline over this anyday.

I think you put work in, so I review, 9. But I must leave a rant because Im weird like that. Consumerism brings hundreds of millions out of poverty. Factories and giant coroporations fight hunger (i.e. CHINA). If you want to really help the third world, shop at Wal Mart.

[Noob tutorial 1.0]

Nice in some ways

This is really helpful to those who don't understand the flash authoring enviroment, but I think you choosing to focus on actually making a button was a poor choice. The fact is, all you're teaching is where to find everything, not what anything means, or why anything is being done. This has nice gfx, but its a tad bit slow. I can't give it above an eight because it simply isn't comprehensive or deep enough to explain alot. But for what it is, you do an above average job, which is an eight. But overally I felt it was above average.

[Air Skirmish]

Never seen anything with such a speed feeling.

This is really great. The animation is near flawless, and the style is great. The movie really delivers a sense of speed which I have never seen done as well as this on Newgrounds. The sense of chaos in an air battle is very powerful, and the movie is very effective. In terms of coveying mood and suspense, this is one of the best movies on Newgrounds.
The voice acting was mixed, it was good that you had it, and sometimes it really helped to add to the realism and intensity, but
the overuse of profanity sort of made the whole thing more cartoony and gave it a sort of cheep feeling. But that in no way denies the high quality of this movie!

[Bored Aliens Short 01]

This is good, really good

I gotta say, the graphics aren't so much stunning, but rather produce an effective medium for conveying ideas, which is better than most of Newgrounds. The movie was pretty funny, and I appreciate that you spent the time to make great voiceovers. The movie was good, very good. But this wasn't good enough to be a classic little an Adam Philps work, but keep on trying, you have the skill and experience!

[A Tutorial for n00bs]

Quite good

The actionscript section focused primarily on light applied scripting, which is fine, but I feel there are other movies that do it better than this one. The creative lines part was very nice, I very much enjoy the style, although I have never used it. The soundboard part was probably what won me over, as there are few other tutorials as good as this for soundboards as this one. This is a good, well rounded, above average tutorial. I would enjoy it if you were to produce another.
