Mathematical Model of US Politics

Posted by Al6200 - November 10th, 2008

Using very advanced regression analysis, I've discovered that the probability of one being a Republican is directly proportional to the amount that a person's douchiness exceeds their intelligence.

Mitt Romney would be plotted at the top right of the graph, while George Bush would be plotted at the center on y-axis and the far left side of the x-axis.

Why only the center?

Huh?

Why would you place Geroge Bush only at the center of the y-axis (as opposed to higher up)?

I think Bush isn't that bad of a person...

I'm not sure if I understand your graph right.

Does this basically mean that dumb republicans and smart democrats tend to be douchy, while smart republicans and dumb democrats tend to be less douchy?

Precisely. To provide examples of those 4 data points.

Mitt Romney - smart Republican, total douche.

Barney Frank - dumb democrat, total douche

Sarah Palin - dumb republican, probably a pretty nice person

Barack Obama - smart democrat, pretty nice guy

To continue with my mindless Republican bashing: isn't Sarah palin the very epitome of a douche?

I would change your graph at the top right. Hillary Clinton is the douchiest of the douches but she is still intelligent and a Democrat.

And of course, Obama would be zero on the y-axis and the highest on the x-axis.

oh you and your graphs :3
